The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting business planning and reporting through financial modeling. The role involves preparing and analyzing management reports, providing insights to improve profitability, and collaborating with various departments to enhance reporting processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial modeling in support of business planning & reporting; perform data modeling to interpret financial information.
  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of management reports and perform financial analysis activities and make recommendations to improve profitability of the business unit.
  • Generate reports on month closing process for cost drivers and any other cost group for managerial decision making.
  • Partner with other departments to identify and drive continuous improvement efforts to improve reporting.
  • Evaluate operational and financial systems or procedures; develop and recommend new or revised methods and controls reports.
  • Support the decision-making process by delivering accurate and timely data, analysis, and recommendations through monthly/ad hoc reporting
  • Compare actual results to budget/forecast and work with business heads to understand variance drivers
  • Creation of presentations and responses to inquiries from various stakeholders
  • Any other ad-hoc reporting, analysis or presentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
  • 0 – 1 year experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and other data analytics software
  • Strong strategic, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions, work collaboratively and become a sought-out business partner
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and find solutions with less than perfect information
  • Willingness to ask for help and leverage the knowledge and experience of others to overcome tough obstacles
  • Passion for driving and delivering results and delivering constructive change
